Alstom presents model of Panama Metro subway car

Patrick Krom, CEO and President of Alstom - the company that is
responsible for the manufacturing of 57 subway cars for the first
line of the Panama Metro system, met yesterday with President of the
Republic, Ricardo Martinelli.

During the meeting, Krom presented Martinelli with the official model
of the very first Panama Metro subway car.

The meeting was also attended by the executive secretary of Panama
Metro, Robert Roy, who also held meetings with Krom during his first
visit to Panama.

The French company Alstom will design and manufacture the 57 cars
needed for this first line of the Metro.

It will also supply the electromechanical equipment and be
responsible for engineering, integration, and service activation.
